Abortion

Well, today marks the anniversary of abortion made legal. Bill was passed in 1973(?) I believe, and ever since, millions of lives that never had a chance were lost. Abortion... I know for a fact that part of the reason was to stop self-abortion, where a pregnant mother would actually abort the baby herself, by whatever means necessary. Passing this bill did more harm to the unborn than to the people alive, in my opinion. Abortion increased every year, the lives stacked up, and the excuse for many people: it's a fetus, it's not alive. So let's see, people just do what they do with no fear at all, knowing that they could always abort. Apparently human lives were less of value to someone's self mutilation. Oh well, I dont support abortion at all because it is wrong, I'm sane, and I'm Christian. Anyone with a conscious probably thinks the same... but I want to see what other people think of the subject, and i also want to know if you think an unborn child actually has a life or not...

I guess you could call me Christian since I believe in God and all that jazz but I don't follow religion as I'm supposed to (but that's for a different thread). But the reason I mention that is because I'm both sane and Christian and I have a conscious and I'm not against abortion necessarily.

I'm pro-choice... I'm pro-choice towards a lot of things. People will do as they will and my logic is that if you can find a good reason to abort a kid, go ahead. It has nothing to do with not having a conscious. There's a lot of things to take into consideration when you're thinking about abortion- or hell, most things- because life is complicated.
With that said, I wouldn't ask my girlfriend to get an abortion.

I dont see why people make abortion a big deal if you know that ure not going to be able to take care of the child then you just abortionate it b4 it even lives.

It is ALIVE inside it's mother. The baby has a FORM inside it's mother.

technically its alive as soon as well...i dont think i need to explain it but did u know it feels pain after a month? and most abortions are done after like 6 months (i had to go to an hour long seminare about this at CCD (sunday school on other weekdays).

It's called condoms... If you don't want a kid then lower the risk! Is it really that hard... lol
