Members can now share their photos, music, programs, stories, and other files with our new downloads system. MAKE SURE YOU OBEY COPYRIGHT LAWS. NOTHING WAREZ OR ILLEGAL, PLEASE.

There is a button at the top of the page in the navigational box which says "ptf-share". That's pretty much all you need to know. It is not difficult to use. To download files, browse through the categories until you find the file you want, and click it. There there will be a "download" link. To add your own files, just click the "add" button at the top of the downloads page, then fill in the info it asks for.

With this system, you not only upload files, but you can add a description and image to each. Other users can also rate and comment on files.

Feel free to start uploading your files (especially music, let's hear some music!).

There aren't many categories right now, but if you would like some more, just let me know and I'll be glad to add them.

And if you have any problems, just let me know and I'll fix it right away.

I would personally just like to let everyone at PTF know that if any viruses or keyloggers or anything 'bad' or malicious or offensive is found in ANY file, action WILL be taken.

This includes graphic images. [nudes, etc.]

Well, of course. The rules still apply for the downloads section. If things start getting bad, then I will make it so uploads won't appear until they are approved by a staff member.

Oh and if it won't let you upload something because of the file extension, just let me know and I'll add the extension to the allow list. This is for security. I have already added most of the commonly used extensions, so this shouldn't be too much of an issue.

I uploaded a song, it would be better if you could upload a whole cd, instead of just one song at a time, could you make it so we can add a whole folder?

It's impossible to upload a folder. You could zip the folder and upload the .zip file.

alright I could do that, I use winrar to do that.

and while you're at it, why not upload winrar as well

So... we're allowed to upload copyrighted music now?

yes, as long as u give credit to the artist
