Thanks for your input.

It is bad, though. Sports fans can get so horrible. That's definitely the worst thing I've ever heard about but even when I went to OHL games, once somebody from the opposing team got hurt and when he got up and started walking off the ice people starting booing!
One time the Kitchener Rangers scored a goal (yaaay), and someone on the other team got hurt on the play. I stood up and cheered for the goal but I felt ridiculous cuz the other guy was on the ice in pain, so I cut the celebration short because I just couldn't go through with even cheering for a goal at that point.
I couldn't help but think about how that guy felt.

This is why I don't like paid sports. In the UK/England we have football as you know. However every time there is a game. The gangs kick off because football is crap and they are loosing.

Kill off sports imo.

I think sports are a great representation of people being able to put aside all their differences and work together. It's very primitive in it's nature, but it's people working together towards a common goal. That includes the fans, they can feel as if they're apart of the team just by supporting them and cheering.

Bad sportsmanship however, is obviously a bad issue to hear about, as indie so complexly stated. Because, for the same reasons that people are brought together by sports, they can be just as dividing and damning between rivals. To sum it up...people are fuckin stupid and will die for the stupidest beliefs.

Back to this particular subject...it is disgusting. You can't blame a man for putting his family before his job, no matter what it is. I've held grudges against players that have left my favorite sports teams, but in a situation as such, it's completely understood. I'd also never heckle them in any malicious way...just talk shit behind they're back...ya know...like a man!

It wouldn't be so bad if they players didn't get paid like they do. In the UK football players get paid so much they don't have to work ever again after a year playing. Some of them make what a top job person earns in a year in a week.

So I say stop paying so much.

Very good point. Professional sports players just a few decades ago got paid much less then they do today, and usually, those old time players would go to school or create a business in the off seasons. Something to prepare themselves for after they stopped playing. Now a days, you're correct, they could live comfortably for the rest of their lives off their signing bonus. Which makes them very immature...since most of them come straight from high school or just a few years of college.

What you added there about them coming from collage, and school. A lot of players are being signed to a team at teenage ages these days. Becoming a lot more common.

Also five year olds get noticed. They get little deals and everything.

yes nowadays people are all over looking for talents and I read in some magazine that a 7 year old kid in Brazil is chosen and he is trained to get him in to the Brazil national team. well these things are really strange for me. But in the the outside world it is always cut throat competition.

Some people probably think this about the online earners. Like oh my god they earn money from sitting down browsing the Internet. As me and AJ would know. If you build any website or forums that makes profit. It takes hard work.

People who work hard deserve the hard earned money.
