okay i'll step in....

i truely don't believe that the bible especially old testament holds any reguards in today society it was written for a different time and very different place... people are smarter and more intellegent than we used to be... we have "evolved" if you will... look at what constitues female clothing of that time? is it anywhere similar to female clothing of our time? look at the opposite male clothing... look at male clothing of jesus's time... mostly robes were worn... women wore robes too... most pictures you see of jesus not saying that he looks like them... but it had to have started somewhere.. he is in a robe and sash... does this constitute male or female clothing?

the new testament is out time... i believe we are coming close to the end of days... however i don't think it will be in our lifetime.

how do we know that God didn't have more people write newer books to the bible... but these peopel were deemed crazy and put in a mental institution? we just really don't know any of these answers... sure you can say you have a gut feeling... or you have faith that tells you...

i'm religious im a christian i believe in god... has god ever spoken to me? no. has god answered my prayers... not directly but in round about ways yes. i honestly would probably turn myself into a mental institution if i hear voices in my head claiming to be god...

maybe im off base but then agian... we really wont know till the day of judgement comes.

as far as a man having a baby... legally by court he is a man... but by all right he has female reproductive oragans.. so it is not a man having a baby... it is a HESHE or a SHEIT or whatever transgender... that is having a baby... they have not broken any new ground... i've seen women that looked more like a man than he did who were pregnent.

I honestly don't think that he just WANTED to be a woman, sure it is weird and unnatural, but whatever. They wanted a baby, specifically their own baby not some adopted one, so they went through drastic measures to do so. I kind of applaud it, honestly. And I am sure not you or me or anyone but those people wil be able to understand.

Man, who cares if someone wants to have a sex change? Let them do what they want with their body. It's THEIRS, if they aren't happy with their current sex then fine, let them be.

Sometimes I forget how nice it is to be surrounded by intelligent accepting people. Who cares about the sex change!? That's his business and no one else's. As for men having children, best idea ever. I hope he proclaims to the world that it's not as easy as some men think.

Well y'know, I'd like to say that it's just common sense that when it's an issue that only affects you and nobody else, than it should be your choice, but unfortunately I can't because I live in a society where "common sense" is dictated by work places, among other reasons.

Example:
"Work harder for the same amount of pay!"
"Why?"
"Cuz that's the way it works!"
"Uh, no. You pay me more and I'll work harder."
"That's a poor attitude."

Common sense, people.

I'm willing to accept that common sense isn't a common trait but seriously people. This is a human being, not an abomination. He has every right to have sex reassignment surgery while retaining his reproductive rights. I'm a bit surprised this hasn't happened already, though considering the closed minded attitudes Thomas Beatie has to contend with, it makes sense.

yea that's true. It's a total assumption that it's the first case. It's also possible the other(s) were extremely careful about who they told.
