no, cause when ur lying there dieing, and they look at ur drivers license , "doaner" you really think they will be trying to save u as much?

So you don't want either? What about all the lives that a default donation could save? It's extremely easy to change if you don't want to be a donor. I don't think doctor's would work any less hard to save me if they knew I was a donor.

I think it should stay how it is, optional. Check the box if you wish to donate. I disagree with Brandon too, the doctors wouldn't half ass the job just because you're a donor. If you're seriously dieing in front of them, they're not going to go check your papers before treating you.

So you're saying then that you'd check the box if you'd like to not be a donor, correct? I just don't see how that really changes anything...except for the people who leave it blank would then by default donate. Ehh...whatever, lol. I'd donate myself, so I really couldn't care, but I'm sure that some people will have religious or just other personal reasons why they wouldn't want it to be the default measure.

Exactly. Instead of the box saying "donor", it would say "not a donor".It wouldn't change anything really but it would help the number of donations because many people would just not care enough to change it. Anyone with objections can change it in minutes.

Yea...but then you're asking those who are too lazy to do things, to do things that might actually help humanity as a whole. They don't like it when you try to make them help. Either way, I support organ donations. And you're suggestion would definitely help a lot of people.

I know it's a stretch for the lazy people but they still get to be lazy so everyone is happy!
