I met my girlfriend online and this very minute she's upstairs taking a shower, so hence, it can work.
Net dating is on the rise. I encourage it if you find someone just like I encourage any other form of dating.

But let's look at the positives. You're forced to actually get to know the person in ways that are possibly more difficult in person. And you can lie to someones face just like online. Sure, stuff like cheating is easy but if you really want to cheat you'd cheat, regardless of whether it's online or not.

I know the difficulties of long distance and the net, but if it works it works. It's dumb to dismiss something like this on the grounds of "well it's POSSIBLE that [whoever] is a rapist [or anything bad]." Because let's face it, my best friend could be a rapist.

Yeah that is true, about any one being a rapist or not, it doesn't matter if there on the internet or real life, there all over the place.

Offline dating means so much more than online, in my opinion.

well of course online dating is not really comparable to real dating. but i guess when you can't find a person to date with on real life. then you have an alternative to find your date on online dating and find a person who has the same problem as you and hopefully you will going to like each other.

You can't just say that people who are single "have a problem", or imply that they are incapable of finding somebody to date. That's ridiculous.

What I said before: "You feel things, emotions, the exact same way. The only thing that is missing at that point is the physicality, which for some people is a big issue." There is emotional investment in ANY kind of relationship; the medium doesn't mean shit on the emotional scale.

If a person feels as though they have met their soulmate online, leave 'em the fuck alone. Now when I say "met their soulmate", there's a lot in that statement to be contested by those "against" it. Like how you know that person is legit, for one.

anyways what i hate on online relationship is you really don't know if you will really get attracted to the one you are talking to physically when you meet them. what if you like the person on cam but when you meet them you will get turned off. well of course i am talking about physical thing only. i am not talking about emotional things. cause i am more concerned on physical for online dating.

Yeah. At least online dating has a lot less to do with physical attraction. It's up to you to say whether that's good or not.
