All I am saying is get off of my doorstep. When I start selling drugs to children in a school zone, o.k., then you may bust me, but If I want to grow a few marijuana plants in my own home or on my property and smoke a little bit of marijuana on my winter break or when I get home from work, I should be allowed to do so.

it's the people who dont have, or will not use self control that fuck everything up for the responsible pot smokers. same is said about drinking, smoking cigs and cocaine and every other drug. people cannot say, ok, enough is enough. and it pisses me off. i've been driving since i was 14. i've been drinking since i was 15. been smoking pot since i was 16. been doing other drugs since i was 21. and in those few years, i am now 23, i have never been arrested nor have i gotten any kind of driving violation of any kind. WHY??? it's called responsibility people. it's called using your brain to know when to stop drinking. it pisses me off because i have to fear smoking a damn joint and then having my workplace come in and drug test me. a plant that came from the Earth. a plant that GOD himself created. no human manipulation whatsoever. unless you go the lacing route. i wish i was a Native American or had Native American blood in me so i could go and blaze up whenever i wanted to. ![]() ![]() |

O.k. I'm going to agree with you. Yes, your right. I never thought I would be able to admit to that, but yes, its true. Marijuana definetely effects my ability to learn and retain information, but, I was never responsible with marijuana. I started smoking pot when I was 13 years old and stopped caring about all other aspects of my life. I smoked alot of pot, before school, after school, before work, after work. I quit school when I was 15 and started working. But it wasnt just that I started smoking marijuana, but also that I stopped learning. I was one of those kids who had no problems with school, or life for that matter. Straight A student. School work was no problem for me, learning was no problem for me, it was almost unconscious. Always had friends, always had a girlfriend, played football and basketball, took karate, played the saxaphone, played the guitar, loved to hunt and fish and ride bikes. But I was always against drugs, I remember when one of my family members got caught smoking pot. I just couldnt believe it. I was so disappointed. I drew posters for the dare program and swore I would never smoke pot. I know it is partly my fault, and I don't blame pot, but I blame my parents for not being more strict and for not giving me more discipline. Sometimes I wish my parents would have stopped me or made me put more effort into school. I wonder what I could have, or would have been. I could have done anything with my life. Although I rarely smoke pot now that I'm in college because I cant smoke pot and do my homework and do all of my reading and remember all of these details I have to remember for exams. I still dont have enough discipline or self-control to smoke pot. I cant smoke pot and wake up early every morning and take care of my responsibilities. If I smoke pot. Then before I know it, I'm waking up and smoking pot. I'm smoking before I go out. I'm carrying a bowl with me so I can smoke pot wherever I go. It also makes me extremely hungry, its like I cant stop eating when I get stoned, and I get lazy. So as much as I enjoy smoking pot. I think about children and teenagers and I believe if marijuana was legal, then more people, especially young people would be more likely to smoke marijauna. Marijuana being illegal also makes people be more careful with it, but I also definetely do not agree with locking people up in jail for smoking or growing marijuana. I look at pictures of myself when I was younger, and we were just little kids who were smoking pot and taking acid all the time. It was like a little kid drug party. | Re: Legalization of Marijuana
But just remember kids, if your going to smoke pot. You only need one hit. You can only get so high, so save your weed ! Take a hit, and walk away, go do something. You can figure everything out, whether you take one hit or smoke the whole bag. It is sad though because marijauna is such a special plant that helps alot of people. We have cannabinoid receptors in our brains for a reason. Its maddening to see people locked up for the rest of their lives, or even for a day, for growing or smoking pot. It is sad and upsetting to see such beautiful plants cut down. Marijuana effects your ability to learn and retain information, it also slows your reflexes. If you ever hear someone who smokes pot say, oh man, it helps me focus, it makes me work better, I have to have it, its nothing but a cop out, something potheads dream up in their heads to justify smoking pot all day. I gaurantee you if you put two people who are of the same intelligence in a room and test them, the person who does not smoke pot will do better, they will get an A, and the person who smokes pot will get a C and will say, oh man, what do we need algebra for I'll never use that, I dont care as long as I get a C, and the person who does not smoke pot will say, its all about problem solving skills, the person who smokes pot will go on to wait tables for the rest of their life, while the person who chose to persue his or her education will go on to be CEO or own their own business and have 4 months of vacation a year. Dont get me wrong, I love marijauna to, but you should at least be honest with yourself. Last edited by Akemiaya; 02-15-09 at 12:01 AM. |

Pot makes everything tolerable. Pot makes lazy, stupid people feel content with their worthless lives. Its like, I'm living in a trash pile, pig sty, but it ain't so bad, because I'm stoned. I'm bored, but it aint so bad, because I have pot. Just because I have pot, I can be content staring at the wall contemplating nothing. Man, Im fucked up in the head, but I think I can deal with it if I just have pot. |

Enjoying talking to yourself? High, I presume. People who want to make their life count don't smoke. Of course that doesn't mean that all people who don't smoke make their life count... ![]() He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? The best thing about talking to myself here is everyone hears me. And no I'm not high, I wish I was though, maybe life wouldnt seem so bad. |
