First there is nothing wrong with ice cream cake. Nor is there anything wrong with rice dream cake or other vegan cake.

I'm aware that knoxbox isn't planning to eat nothing but meat. I don't think plants feel pain either. It is interesting as a theoretical argument though.

Ice cream cake is one of those things that can make or break a decision because along with pretzels (those big ones, not those ones that come in chip bags), it's my favourite food ever. So of course an alternative to ice cream cake will help the jump to vegan. With pretzels I don't have to change much.

Edit: It's nice that finally I'm talking about the REAL important issues here.

Vegan ice cream is super easy to find/make. Cake is so easy people do it without even about it. I'm 90% vegan with extraordinarily little effort.

I eat meat. However I don't agree with hunting. Unless the animals are being killed for food like on a farm etc that is okay. However hunting for fun and fur is just worng. Sorry if you do this. I just don't agree.

Oh I get it. The cream in ice cream. I don't see why milk is that bad, though. Don't the cows need to be milked every once in a while?

Milk itself isn't all that bad , though it's no where near as healthy as what the dairy says it is. I avoid cows milk because of the treatment of the animals and well I find the whole idea of eating something tailored for a baby cow a bit disgusting. Besides I love rice milk and wouldn't drink cows milk if the cows begged us to take it. The cows are repeatedly impregnated so they keep giving milk since the only time they produce is for calves. After the calf no longer needs the milk (i believe its about 10 months) the mother stops producing it. The calves are taken from the mothers immediately after birth and use for veal or the next generation of milking cows.

I see. Also there's all the steroids to make cows produce more milk.

There's lot of stuff in milk I'd prefer to be no where near but since I didn't know any of them off the off of my head, I left those out. All that info is from memory, if you are interested I can find the research I've read on the benefits/negatives of animal milk.

I find it helps to use BB code. [sarcasm] [/sarcasm]

Sarcasm is hard to read on the internet, but I can name two instances where something that I thought was clearly a joke was taken really seriously. The most recent one was... where I said on the evolution/creationism thread that maybe nothingness became tired of being nothing so committed suicide by becoming something. I was really just pointing out the absurdity of some of th explanations of the other members. Then there was in the abortion thread, I think, where I said something about how all pro-abortionists sniff glue because I somehow arrived at the conclusion that Justin Robar was or whomever, and he took that as a serious comment.
