why is it that when someone places something in front of us and says don't touch it... first reaction is to touch it... not sure exactly why most people can't restrain from this...

if you look at my signature, i've taken this to the next level, originally I asked for people to help the vampires defeat the werewolves and to click her to help/ join my legion... i got 0 responses.. so i used your own weakness against you... i changed it to do not click here. and i have had 2 clicks since i changed it yesterday.

i don't even think alot of people that are on here more than average really look at signatures much anymore, but this goes to prove the big red button theory, at any given time most people i seen on here at one time is like 6 members. so for 2 of those 6 to click that.. in less than 24 hours.. i think thats pretty good coverage.

so why is it that we feel the need to push something we are told not to?

I'm a contrary little thing, hate doing what people tell me to. Being told not to do something without a long rational explanation just makes me insatiably curious.

As for the topic at hand, I was gonna give a sociological response it but I would have had to read my girlfriend's textbook because she didn't have a solid response. Oh, my precious lil social worker.

So I'll just say, it's that natural rebellion we all have in us, from the moment we're little. We like to stir things up, see what makes things tick, oppose authority in whatever way, even if it's not in our best interest. We still want to see.

i think whether or not i'll listen depends on the situation and setting of the button, if im in a nuclear factory im not pushing that button if im in a toy store im pushing it.

I clicked it to make sure it wasn't something inappropriate. lol.

Other than that, I would have probably clicked it just out of curiosity.
