You eat meat I'm assuming. So do I. We continue to eat slaughtered animals, thus allowing the meat industry to thrive, thus allowing murder to continue. Thus making us murderers or at least part of the process.

We don't know what animals think. You think we need to eat meat to survive? You think killing them is okay? You think we're above the animals? It's not like we're out living in the woods, here, killing what we can to get by. There's plenty of alternatives to meat and meat products.
Animals don't even have a chance.

What saddened me was that you take the bible as dogmatic. That's where my problem with some groups of religious people is. The inability to judge situations for yourself. Thou shall not steal, but I steal from major corporations that exploit people on a day to day basis for a profit. That's one example.

But I do believe in God, but by a general definition (according to dogma), I will not make it to heaven, despite me doing what I do for the benefit of people.

Oh, I was also saddened by your implication that you are allowed to kill something when you're dominant.

Let's get something straight. I do not take the Bible as dogmatic. I read the Bible and interpret the message for myself. I also believe that there are parts of the Bible that are metaphoric. And I believe that God gives humans the right to kill animals to eat them.

And I guess I should have been more specific when I said dominant. I basically meant that we have the right to eat them.
