it's not sci-fie it's reality. That is the best thing we could do with time travel.

Time travel will happen. It might happen when the world fixes itself after the humans are all dead and reborn Smarter, faster, and more eco friendly

Do you really think that we can become eco friendly? there may be a few people who are, and more, but i don't think we are.

dont know if anyone said this yet but i think its impossible to change the past by travelling through time because it would happen in the past making the world however it was in the future see this for it to make more or less sense depending on the words you know Novikov self-consistency principle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

'Ey GA you got the right idea. But you could go back and do something, it just would not change how things worked out. But if you didn't go back and do that thing, it never would have happened. But we would know if someone came from the future to do something. For instance, 9-11 would never have happened. I guarantee that if we had time travel in the future, some soldiers would go back in time to stop the terrorists.

I think EVERYTHING will be possible in the future. I mean, think about it, ages ago people never thought that we could fly from one country to another, they never even imagined that something like computers and television would exist, they never thought not even in their wildest dreams that man could go to the moon... but all those things have happened, and now to us they are just simple things, computer, planes, people going to the moon or sending robots to Mars... so right now we think that time traveling is impossible, but maybe for our future generations it will be just something they do for fun... who knows, nothing is impossible.

Good point. We think we have such advanced technology that it will never get much better, but in my opinion we are just scratching the surface of what we can do. And, now that I am rethinking my stance on this matter, I suppose, if the time traveling was done very carefully by scientists and the military, we would not already know. They would only make subtle changes (and by changes I mean doing things that in history had already been done [see Guitar Addiction's post]).
