I really hope you're right. They deserve to win this round. My only fear is that the game selection will be similar to the past two generations, which- while having some amazing games- was pretty pathetic. I remember going to Blockbuster and looking for a Gamecube game and very rarely was I able to find anything I wanted to play. I enjoy simple (kid?) games that are a blast to play but I'm 21 and sometimes I need to see some blood or just be effected by some kind of story. So I just hope competent developers latch onto it... But I heard Konami has announced they'll make games so that's a good start, I hope somebody like Kojima gets horned up over it, he'll do amazing things with the Wii, because he's behind the greatest series ever made.

I'm going to offer points on both sides of the argument.

Nintendo (the first console): Revolutionary for its time. Beats the Atari. Good games include the first few Zeldas.

Super Nintendo: Great. More Zeldas. Shadowrun. Plenty of good story to these games, lots of items, great gameplay. I still play my SNES.

PS1: Great system. Good graphics for the time. Plenty of good games like Final Fantasies 7-9. A good start to a good company. The controller is similar to Nintendos, but they stuck with a winning plan, didn't they?

PS2: The best of its time. Beat the newer Nintendo systems, which seemed like the same thing as the last system (Game Cube, 64 and all that). Great graphics. Great games, such as Grand Theft Auto, Armored Core. Better DVD player than the first, a good option for those without DVD players.

PSP: The best handheld system out. Beats the Gameboys in graphics and offers better games. Acts as an MP3, beating iPods. Plays movies, saved to it or from a disk, games can be saved to it, free internet access, online play, etc.

PS3: Very costly, but worth it in terms of graphics and games. New, but proven as a good system.

XBOX 360: Much like the PS3, only cheaper and with fewer features. Good for those who own XBOXs but not PS2s.

Yeah, i perfer nintendo, I like the games that nintendo, has only on there consoles, like the mario series games.

I like the original Marios for SNES and the remakes of them for Gameboy. However, all the new ones just seem to overrated. Why do they make 8 different Mario Party games? To what purpose can that serve? If anyone here has watched the Decline of Video Gaming series, which is four flash cartoons that may be found on Play Online Flash® Games | Play The Best Flash® Games Online | UGOPlayer.com. They go over the faults of everything (except the PSP, which is so damn perfect), you will know what I'm talking about. Nonsense, utter nonsense. </rant>

LOVE Nintendo!! No other computer has Super Mario and it kicks ass!!
However i like Playstation too!
