Yea, I like Sony.

Sony.... hahahahhahahahahahahhahahaha! OMG i need to stop laughing. breath in, breath out. okay okay okay. First of all, i never said Sony games were worthless. and for everyone's information, playstation has a lot of great games. BUT, the Wii is obviously better, by people's choice. Now all you people who say "who cares, it's about the multi-media and the power-packed system!" Well you know who cares? The damn manufacturers care! Something that's cheaper to make, doesnt have a DvD player, no hi-def plugs included, (yes wii has hi def to make their graphics worse "let's zoom in on that horrible and pathetic excuse of a face!"), or the useless blu-ray that will not even be USED by the many gamers, was enough to outsell an overpriced game system that is probably the stupidest thing Sony couldve done with the Ps3. Who will care about the blu-ray disc when they're playing Final Fantasy? Obviously no one, because the useless bllu-ray doesn't correspond with the use of the game system. I see Sony has a hard time staying away from their norm(al). You know what people will notice though? the fact that the microsoft system that came out a year before was 200 bucks cheaper and probably better. Out of all the game systems, which are most people likely to buy? I will give Sony credit on their games, because they do kick ***, but seriously, if you can't make a simple game system, stop trying. The first Playstation was amazing when it came out. The ps2 didnt cost 600 bucks and didnt include the useless blu-ray that only the wealthy will use. That's why the ps3 is such a...waste.

Meh. I like the Sony/Playstation more. I like my games with gratuitous amounts of blood, gore, sex, and violence. Nintendo just doesn't deliver on that.

Maybe the story in some games aren't fantastic (a plumber saving a princess?) but others are (Metroid) really good or good enough to serve its purpose. As for gameplay I have no idea what you're talking about because Nintendo systems have seen plenty of games that look stupid but are an absolute blast to play.

But this is what got me the most. How is the playstation original at all? You mean how they copied the nintendo controller and added a few buttons? Just look at the Playstation controller, it's just like the super nintendo in layout.
The psp doesn't beat the DS in most ways, the DS destroys it. It's more original and just more fun and is good at what it does (play GAMES), it's not a portable media device because Nintendo isn't worried about giving you another dvd player. Nintendo is about innovation and while Sony and Microsoft are busy giving us computers, Nintendo is trying to make everybody like games. And for the most part they're doing it with the Wii.

Though I will admit that the 64 and Gamecube were a bit lacking. Whatever, they didn't succeed as they planned, but at least they tried. The Wii will make up for it.



I don't even hate the PS or even the Xbox, I own a 360 and will own a PS3 eventually (I have a PS2 as well and I had a PS1), but the first post in this thread was just ridiculous. Which I'm sure somebody has commented on, but I haven't read the rest of the thread and really have no desire to.
