That kind of car could save you a shitload of money. Odds are, the gas companies are going to pay car dealerships off not to sell air powered cars if the idea takes off. Everyone but them thinks we need an alternate source of energy, but they have money and the government is getting amazing amounts of tax money off of gas sales. Even if dealerships sold air powered cars, they'd cost about $100,000 I'd bet.

They said they could get the price down to about $18,000. Their biggest problem is the energy needed to compress the air to a high enough pressure.

That's pretty good, then, actually. If the car had suction, you wouldn't even need to fill up on air. Just a special battery, maybe, to recharge that compresses the air.

Or maybe we should remove the floors of regular cars and run.
