I read over my original post and saw how you could have mis-read it. Still, I don't think it's my fault for it.

The first part was just saying that I simply don't think they'll be much like us if they do. ( why say something so seemingly insignificant? I don't know--but it is one of the few definite thoughts I have on it.)

The second part was simply giving the chances of the type of life I instinctively feel have a decent chance ( microorganisms. Why them? I don't know. But all lifes have to consist of the same basic things as we do--we live in a deterministic world after all--and our instincts are based off what we know and what we feel about it.).

I don't think aliens exist. All of the alien and UFO stuff is more or less made up. The government does have some aircraft and stuff that have a similar structure, but no, there aren't actually any aliens.

Reasons:
1. There is no point in the govt. covering up aliens.
2. There would be leaks of (credible) information. No government agency is that airtight. I think that this has become QUITE apparent. You cannot keep secrets anymore. If you could, so many senators wouldn't be resgining because of scandals. Also, the govt is monitored on so many levels by so many people, its stupid to think that anything that significant could get past.
3. The people who release these videos do so for attention
4. All of the videos suck. If UFO's/aliens existed, we'd eventually get a good shot. I mean, we have so many cameras at such a high definition now, it's uncanny.
5. The UFO's are always either dots or lights. Great...

Pandemonium. Chaos. Panic. OMGWEREALLGONNADIE!!!!11!!!1!!!one!!!

That's probably why, although that's not a very good reason. Anyway, just because aliens may not have found the Earth doesn't mean they don't exist.

Can someone explain to me to the phenomenon of crop circles? There are hoax circles but in real circles, you can see the precision in the work and they have a magnetism inside the circle. Even if that is just a crazy naturally occurring phenomenon, don't you think we should pay attention to what it's saying?

I just read Jol's post for the first time, and I have beef with #2. There are government officials who've had top secret clearance who are willing to testify in front of Congress. But nooooo..Congress is too busy getting to the bottom of that whole steroid debockle!

I haven't read much about crop circles but the complexity of some of them does raise some questions. The people with top secret clearance willing to testify is suspicious as well.

So maybe they have found us and they're just messing with us... or branding us so they can remember which one we are.

Maybe they are "runways" for the future invasion

Or maybe they're trying to guide us and help us because we obviously fucking need it.
