Paul's support does not show up on conventional polls. The majority of his support lies in the internet and with the youth. Now sure, it's hard to make sure that those people will get out and actually vote, since no one really pays attention to them and really cares if they do. But how insane would it be if they all realized that fact. That the government expects them to just lay down and take it, and they finally stand up and DO go out and vote and vote intelligently. I've seen more Ron Paul signs then anyone else's in my area. Just today (day of the primary), while working (I deliver), I saw at least 10-12 Ron Paul signs and only 1 Romney, maybe 3 McCain. Paul has the support, it's just on them to actually use they're civic duty.

Screw off with "..it's just the U.S. political system". None of that shit means anything, they all treat it like a game and I think people are starting to realize they've been playing us for too long.

As for Paul living in his parents house. He's a doctor...they make pretty good money, so I'm sure he moved out. It's stupid insults like that, that make FoxNews. They don't report, they insult and distort. It really has no place being drilled into the collective psyche.

You know who else the youth supported? Rory Fitzpatrick for the NHL All-Star game. Let that sink in.

And it does mean something to say "it's just the U.S. political system". If EVERY politician is treating it that way, that's what it becomes in practice. Theory be damned on this one. It SHOULDN'T be a game. But it's become one. If we had a whole election full of Ron Paul's (the way you describe him, anyway), it would be an entirely different story. But that's simply not the case.

And I didn't say he was still living with his parents. Read it again. I said he REMINDS ME of those kind of independent candidates. The only way Ron Paul has an ice cube's chance in hell is if one of the big hitters ends up dropping out and declaring public support for Paul.

Lol nice point on the All star game. Thats very true. The youth have more important things to vote for...hell American Idol is back!

I guess if you're content with playing the game, then theres no problem with what politics have become...or have been for probably 50 years. But I'm not content with it and I'm hoping the majority of American's feel the same way. Sorry..but you're not one of em. (Thank God! One less vote for the right lol)

He REMINDS you of blah blah..thats what I meant by my FoxNews comment. They say things like that, that aren't true at all and put it in weird contexts to construe how you feel about the candidate. My favorite examples are in the debates that they televise themselves. They'll get a group of people THEY SELECT in a room and ask who they felt won the debate, and depending on whoever is in the lead according to the media, thats who the majority raise their hands for. I've seen Paul win they're "text votes" before too. Where they ask THEIR OWN AUDIENCE to text who they feel won the debate. I've seen him win that twice now, and both times, they made a point to ask that same group who felt Paul lost and is a crazy lunatic (in not so many words), and they all raise their hands. Then they make their point that their own polls mean jack shit. It's ridiculous.

But thats a rant on FoxNews and their consistent lies. I think the best opportunity Paul has to win this election is to run independently in the general election. If he gets lucky and the country is still completely torn over who they want, and another strong independent like Mike Bloomberg* run, he might just be able to steal it with 38-40%. Now he hasn't reached that yet in the polls but you know how I feel about the polls.

(*which why is he a strong independent? I don't know, but I've read reports he is. Apparently toying with running in the general election as an indy)

Maybe he could do it as an independent.
