Just wondering what everyone views of the contestants and which one they like at the time. Here is basically what I think: All politicians are basically fatally corrupt. These presidential candidates think that they might be able to buy their way into the presidency [Mitt Romney] or they think that they can smart talk the population [Barack Obama/Hillary Clinton]. But overall right now I'd say my top 4 are: -Barack Obama -John McCain -Mike Huckabee -Hillary Clinton Why? Quote:

I would like Mike Huckabee in office. I really like what he stands for. Why is it that because a person speaks well that he is perceived as a good leader? thats exactly the quality that should make a red flag go up...he's going to talk you into bed with him and then fuck the shit outta you when he's in office. All those 4 candidates you said I could never vote for. Huckabee is a preacher, that is something I can never bring myself to vote for. Separation of church and state? well lets elect a freakin' priest! c'mon.. McCain I respect for his duty and all the things he's been through. But I wouldn't vote for him. I think he's too old now, he's passed his prime and he can't connect to the next generation of America's youth. Not to mention I disagree with some of his opinions. Hillary Clinton has experience because she was married to a President? That's not how it works. She sure is using that name to boost her appeal but her name is also what's hurting her the most. For some reason the majority of American's despise her, at least on the right. I do think she unfairly gets some shit sometimes because given the options, she isn't the worst possible candidate, but I don't see myself ever voting for her. Barack Obama..well I think he's articulate. I guess I'm racist. Obama, to me, seems like a safe choice for people. He's different from the red in office, he's a new fresh face, I've heard people comparing him to JFK after his Iowa speech. What happened to JFK? you remember? If it comes down the the main election and he's the Dem on the ticket vs some jagoff Republican, I would vote for him. Only because I seriously see him being assassinated as horrible as it is to say it. And I'm just cynical enough to vote how they want me to just so I can get a front stage seat for the show. I support Ron Paul, if you couldn't tell. The reason I do, is because for the first time in my short life, I see a candidate who is real, who honestly answers questions, and who isn't afraid to speak his mind on what he believes to be right. The top tier candidates all change their opinions and lie to the public to get in office, thats why they're top tier. The secondary candidates like Paul, Kucinich, Gravel, are always more suited to the public. As long as televised debates let you see the pretty face who speaks articulately the public will always be swayed. They don't really care about issues they want image. Well congratulations, you're probably gonna get it. ![]() |

Well if everyone though like you, no one would care, and we'd have Bush for 8 more years. Don't play into their hands. Knowledge is power! ![]() |
