I'm not making things complicated. You either are for socialism or are against socialism? Which one?

OMG is this FoxNews? Let's talk about hillary-care next can we? please please please!?

I can think of worse things then being equal with everyone AJ. Don't you get it? Socialist, Communism...they scare people into rallying behind the cause and trick them into thinking they're all evil. While I do see the legitimate beef the right has with socialized medicine because then everything is government controlled, and you can't pick you're doctor or anything, its more so assigned I'd assume; so I understand that point. But why not give that a shot? I mean republicans have been helping those who already have the means to help themselves for so long, why not try and give the underdog some free health care, eh??

Now are you for or against that, AJ? Do you like to help people in need or do you hate needy people? Which is it AJ? Which One? Its either one or the other, I mean, you're words here...gotta choose, now now now...!

I know where I stand. I am highly against that. I would rather provide for myself and my family than provide for LOW LIFE BUMS WHO DON'T DO A DAMN. If I work my ass off, why the hell would I want to be treated the same as someone who doesn't work at all?

But maybe you just wouldn't understand that because you DO have a crappy job that pays $7/hr and you just want to mooch off the people who DO work hard. Is that why you're for it?

The way to help others is not to just feed their face...I am all for helping the needy, but SOCIALISM IS NOT THE WAY TO DO IT. You can help them get a job.

Are you also forgetting this country's founding fathers? This country was built on DEMOCRACY, not socialism. This is supposed to be "the land of opportunity", not "the land of we feed your face, even if you don't work"!

Need I go on? Only bums support socialism.

I AM A BUM BECAUSE I LIVE IN A STATE THAT HAS ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY NO JOBS!

Is that what you wanna hear? Do you wanna just ignore the fact that we do have poverty here in America? The people in poverty don't use they're money correctly, I'll agree. Our poor people are fat, in direct contrast to poor people around the world. But that also has to do with the way they're taught and raised. The education system has obviously broken down in inner cities, but fuck the inner cities right? I mean all those bums...geez...go get a job ya lazy bastard! Oh...wait...where are you gonna work in Detroit? Fast food or factory. Good luck finding a factory job right now. So..yea...fuck you if you're that rich. Wayne Buffet is one of the richest guys in the country, he pays a 17% income tax rate. His personal assistant, who makes around 60 grand, pays 30%. Is that fair? Is it fair that the people with the most money always get awarded for it?

Fuck the American dream.

I DO understand that. I've had crappy jobs my whole life. What the fuck does that have to do with how hard I work at em? Just because thats the best I can get right now doesn't make me worth any less then you. Fuck off if thats how you think.

Yeah, AJ, I'm afraid I just can't support you there, buddy.

You would rather support yourself than these supposed "low-life bums" who "don't do a damn". Consider WHY they don't have jobs. Are some people mooching off the welfare state? Of course. It seems to me to be pretty easy to get away with. BUT, a lot of people don't work because they can't.

Homeless people are, in a very real way, stuck. You can't work without social insurance. You can't get social insurance without a civic address. You can't get a civic address because you don't have the money to afford housing. You would HAVE the money if you could work, but you can't because you don't have social insurance. You see the circle there? If North America in general focussed more on providing housing for EVERYONE, EVERYONE could work.. and that stimulates the fuckin economy. 100% employment, folks. Bring it on.

The amount of money you make does not dictate how hard you work, AJ. Please please PLEASE don't ever make a claim like that again. It's foolish. In fact, delivery guys in general work their asses off, and I know it because I've been there. I actually have some more respect for Hatchet knowing that's what he does. I'm not at all saying you don't work hard, AJ, you probably earn what you make. But don't assume that because someone doesn't make as much money as you that they don't work just as hard or harder for it.

Let's look at the Pledge of Allegiance for a moment, AJ, if you want to talk about the U.S.' founding fathers and what the country was built on.

"One nation, under God, indivisible, withliberty and justice for all."
^ Is it just, what you're saying? Is it just to have that "every man for themselves" attitude? Is the "one nation" really indivisible if you want preferential treatment based on your fucking bank account? The U.S. isn't the land of opportunity. I really hate to burst your fucking bubble. The only way it's the land of opportunity is if you already have enough money to root yourself in the game. If you have NO money, you're fucked, and THAT'S what we need to alleviate.

The way to help others is to give them a fighting fucking chance. We're all in agreement about that. I think the path to that is raising taxes to provide SOCIALLY-FUNDED, LOW-INCOME HOUSING ON A WIDE SCALE. This is not saying that we support individuals forever. But this is saying that we do something to help people maintain working potential. The key to a better economy is right in front of us. And that goes for Canada as much as it does for the U.S. I just give thanks that we have a government that bites the bullet and provides for its citizens. Maybe not as much as it could, but I don't mind paying 15% on my milk instead of 5%. And neither should you. Suck it the fuck up and do the right thing for your fellow MAN.

Ah. I don't know. I don't pay attention to politics because, right or wrong, I don't feel like I will be directly affected by politics until I'm 18+ years old. I don't even know what socialism is or why only bums like Hatchet support it.

I don't really understand why everyone hates Bush so much. I don't like him, either, but hell, I never voted for him...twice. It's OK to vote for a bad candidate once, but then we reelected him. So then we blame all the nation's problems on his leadership and decide that no matter who we elect now, he/she will not be as bad. Maybe that's true, but maybe our next president would see fit to invade Canada and bring democracy to them.

Sounds a lot like the Crusades when I say it that way. Well, kinda.

Hey, according to Mozilla's spellcheck, kinda is a word.

I think Hilary might be good as president if she actually does all the health care stuff she said she would do and doesn't have to take everyone's paycheck to do it. I don't really like her, but she might do a good job.

I'm entirely ignorant of the other candidates' stances on stuff. I don't watch the debates. Maybe I'll do that.

Exeunt.
