Everyone concentrates on the problems we're having in this country lately; illegal immigration, hurricane recovery, alligators attacking people in Florida .

Not me. I concentrate on solutions for the problems. It's a win-win situation. + Dig a moat the length of the Mexican border.

+ Send the dirt to New Orleans to raise the level of the levies.

+ Put the Florida alligators in the moat along the Mexican border.

I think this is funny in light of what's going on between you and Hatchet.

You do realize that people have to actually acknowledge there's a problem before they can do anything? Actually, people not acknowledging that is the biggest problem that we face. It's a lot easier to do something when people are with it but the problem is, a large percentage of people aren't. And even if they DO want change, it's also difficult to agree on what kind of change we want. Or if they think things have to change, they don't even have the desire to alter their own lives. It's a complicated mix of a bunch of things and it goes deeper than what this fucking fwd (or whatever it is) says.

You can throw solutions out there all the time (which I HAVE time and time again) and as much as you want but it makes no difference at all at this point in time.

Simple procedure...
Identify problem ----> Solve problem.

But with that said, it would be great if this fwd could accomplish anything.

What's wrong with justifying my points? You make a claim, I rebutle and then you come back with a short sentence that doesn't resolve anything in the debate. Just think...I don't care if you agree or not, but use critical thought. Don't believe everything is just fine because the tv says it'll all be okay. lol... i come back with a one sentence statment that keeps you from rambling on 90% of the time ... i don't watch the news so therefore i don't see the negative.. i do however read the newspaper and stuff online news wise... sure its not all fun and games... take the bad with the good... i can't believe you let everything effect you in a negative way though... peace in the middle east... get your sign out lets see some protesting... being negative all the time has got to have some adverse effects on you as a person.. physically mentally and whatnot... the whole world is made up of energy and whether you believe it or not your negative vibes and thoughts don't effect just you but people around you... so ya its like a domino effect...

Edit: And believe it or not, people who want social/political change are a minority so honestly it gets tiring being beaten down for wanting a better world. So if Hatchet rambles on (though I don't see how it's rambling when you're making precise points), then it's needed cuz the voice needs to be heard.

Let's try actually talking about the topic at hand instead of discussing how to fix one's opinions.

I try to discuss the topic at hand, but somehow it comes back to how I'm so negative. I'm sick of trying to defend my cynical opinions just because you choose not to look at the truth. If you're happy in you're little reality where bad things happen in far away lands and you don't ever have to see it or deal with it, then please, by all means stay in you're world. It sounds like a wonderful place.

How can you sit here and tell me, basically, that you don't keep up on world events at all, you don't watch the news...I'm sure you read news websites that are owned by the corporate media (a.k.a. propagandist material); and yet, YOU know whats right. You know the answers. I've never said I know the answers, but you have to know the problems before you can work the solutions.

You wanna talk about energy and group consciousness effecting the whole? How about group ignorance? How about the majority of this country being borderline fuckin' illiterate to any relevant issue? Maybe thats the negative side. Maybe because everyones sleep walking the problems are getting out of control at an alarming rate. Maybe it's not from people like me who have opened they're eyes.


Why is the truth seen as taboo? Oh God, I'm rambling again...

edit: I'd also like to say stop judging my character. Because I choose to talk about real issues, doesn't mean I'm a negative person all around. Sure I'm cynical as fuck, but I have a balance. So I'd appreciate it if you're argument could be focused on more points then "oh you're so negative!"
