I don't know. This forum, like others that have come before it and continue to come, goes through times when there are very few posts and nobody interesting is posting. Then someone new comes along and brightens things up with new topics and old topics with new ideas. I don't think we need to change much to keep people coming in, although we shouldn't be talking about the forum as dead. It is just sleeping.

Yea, that was probably me. Sorry. But like Obdurate said, it was out of frustration. I just got sick of seeing all these religious themed threads. It's not that I don't like to discuss it, but it gets tiring when every thread on the subject (here at least) ends up going in the same direction.

I've been to this website before, and it's nothing but pure nonsense. Their defense on abiogenesis shows a lack of understanding of the subject, it's also an appeal to authority.

I think that both this site, sites like it, and sites that try to use reason to prove God are all flawed greatly. They beat around the bush and use bad logic. This site, for instance, talks a lot about how the Bible cannot be correct, when the Bible is only the foundation of Christian belief, and not the Christian god himself. Sites on the other side of the fence rely more on logic like "There's a 0.00000001% chance that life could of evolved through accidental random selection, showing their own ignorance of the theory of evolution.

This should be taught in schools. I'v been going to a private catholic school for 12 years and I stopped believing in 7th grade or so. I'm one of very few that doesn't believe at my school. It's funny, it seems like people that are smart, not book smart, but intelligent and have an open mind are the ones that don't believe in god.
