Hi Im Akemiaya, and I am an animal, and I was just wondering why cant I have a soul too?

Because of the word human or animal? Like these 2 words somehow seperate humans from animals.

I never understood why human beings think they are any more deserving than any other animal, because of how they perceive things. Although, to retort this statement, I have to say that if animals cant have souls, then neither can humans, because humans are really just a different species of animal.

As an animal, I must rebuke, reprove, and reprimand the idea that humans can have souls and animals cant.

Right, well...I suppose humans like to empower themselves. If we don't have souls, we don't get to live after death, and that's scary. If animals have souls too, we'd feel bad about killing them for food. This is probably why the Bible says that animals are not eternal and we are.

And before you say anything, AJ, take this as an alternate statement: God only gave humans souls for the above reasons and that is why the Bible says what it does.

Animals have souls too, anything that have emotion does have a soul. That's the fundamental proof of the existence of a soul (if we neglect the theory of existence, that is). The thing that separates us from animals is REASON and WISDOM, animals don't have any of that!

However, as the scene seems to be, i guess the slight difference between our and their souls is that ours is Eternal while theirs is Not.

Reason and wisdom are just levels of learning. Even sea snails can learn.
