today was different than most of the average work days. i had a minor accident, i dropped 12 12 packs of mt. lightening and took me almost a hour to clean it all up. what a mess. then as i got back from lunch and we were heading to unload the truck, a unloader told me that this other unloader told him that he wanted to quit and get 8 gallons of gas and blow the building up, then he started pointing at other associates and pulling the trigger, then puts his fingers in his mouth and pulls the trigger. the guy is crazy i had heard that he threatened them before, and i was not about to let this happen again, without consequence. i went and told the managers what i had heard and that they needed to take care of this because if i heard the words come out of the guys mouth myself, i would take matters into my own hands. they called the unloader that told me about it, and asked him about the situation and made him write a statement, then they called the guy that actually said the stuff, and had him in there for quite awhile, when he returned he grabbed his stuff and left. i am hoping that they terminated him, because he should have been terminated the last time. if not i'm calling the district manager and district personnel manager over it. this left me worried about two things, was he serious, and will he come back? and secondly would he be waiting for us to come out to our cars as we left? well since i am typing this, you know the answer is that he did nothing. as i was leaving work i pulled out of my parking spot and this guy jumps out in front of me as he was backing out of his spot almost side swipes me. then he has the nerve to drive by my car and yell that i needed to slow down... he needed to look before backing up. i just will never understand how when people are in the wrong, they can never just accept that fact, they always have to blame it on someone else fact is i wasn't speeding he just didn't look.
