You all heard about that, right? A group of teens (and I hope there already isn't a thread for this, if so let me know) decided to all get pregnant together and raise their babies together. They got older guys to impregnate them and are incredibly stupid. Not ignorant. Stupid. There's a difference. They definitely have no sense.

They'll half to drop out of school. Good luck finding a second-rate job to support a baby on your own without child support.
The child will have no father and a teen mother, increasing the chances of birth defects.
The parents will be raising the kids more than the mothers anyway, I'll bet, financially and otherwise.
There's probably more reasons why they are wrong, too.

"We'll raise our babies together." Bullshit!

The only person who think it was a pact was the principle and he has no proof. The girls were unbelievably stupid but there wasn't a pact.

The news story I saw said they signed their names and all that, but it stands that they conspired to do this and thought it was a good idea. They probably still think it is.

Wouldn't be surprised if the principal made up the pact part of it. In my experience, principals are very good at making things up and making assumptions

Do you have a link? Everything I've read about this says the opposite.

It's a weird concept for me to think of principals as mean or clueless. The ones I had in schools (3 in total) were great. They might have been a touch clueless on how prevalent marijuana use was but really they were much more with it than the "bad kids" thought.

Gay is not a describer of inanimate objects. Gay means either happy or homosexual, neither of which apply.

Assuming you mean stupid, not gay, I totally agree. Hopefully one of these days the girls (and the babies' fathers) will wake up and join reality.

I wasn't confused, it's a pet peeve of mine to use gay as an adjective for anything but homosexual beings. If it didn't bother my gay/lesbian friends, I wouldn't care a bit.
