Stimulus Payment Schedule for Tax Returns Processed by April 15

Economic stimulus payments will be issued according to the last two-digits of the main filer's Social Security number. People who use direct deposit also will be among the first to receive the payments starting May 2. Paper checks will be put in the mail starting May 16.

DIRECT DEPOSIT
Last two SSN digits: Payment will be transmitted:
00 through 20 May 2
21 through 75 May 9
76 through 99 May 16
PAPER CHECK
Last two SSN digits: Payments will be mailed by:
00 through 09 May 16
10 through 18 May 23
19 through 25 May 30
26 through 38 June 6
39 through 51 June 13
52 through 63 June 20
64 through 75 June 27
76 through 87 July 4
88 through 99 July 11

People who file a return after April 15 will receive their economic stimulus payment, but probably about two weeks later than the schedule shows. A return must be filed by October 15 in order to receive a stimulus payment this year. See the online calculator for an estimate of the amount you will receive.

A small percentage of tax returns will require additional time to process and to compute a stimulus payment amount. For these returns, stimulus payments may not be issued in accordance with the schedule above, even if the tax return was processed by April 15.

i got mine last friday and haven't spent a dime of it im proud of myself... hrm. dunno what im gonna spend it on.

that reminds me of one time when i had money saved in my bank account without me even knowing i had it. prolly would of been gone if i had known about it though.

i know im spending mine as soon as i get the chance to spend it. i have some things i need to pay for. like my PS3, i pawned it for a loan to buy wrestling tickets for the Monday night RAW show on June 23rd in San Antonio Texas. i could have waited until i got paid but didnt know if tickets would still be available 5 days later. then after that im buying a surround sound system for my PS3, TV and Cable Box. theres nothing better than a Blu Ray movie on a 1080P HDTV with surround sound.

if my wife don't quit nickel and dimming us to death I may not have a stimulus check to buy anything with... her excuse for the past two weeks has been well that check will cover this that check will cover that, and my reply is that check needs to be saved, and spent on something we need not pissing it away on little piddly shit that wont add up to anything.

your right it would be harder for my wife to know we had anything if i had it in gold burried in my back yard with a treasure map leading the way and a eye patch paroit with a wooden leg.

i'm glad im still young and single. my uncles and dad are in the same boat as you knoxbox. they wanna save and save but their wifes keep spending and spending.

i got no bills that i need to payoff so imma spend it on luxury items for myself.
