religion wise i don't think its ever okay... but me personally i knew before i got married i was going to sleep with my wife... i wasn't about to risk getting married to someone that i physically couldn't stand sleeping with for the rest of my life... and you have to make sure it someone that your comfortable with in this way... if not u'll never entirely be happy... least i don't think... then agian if neither of you had sex before you wouldnt' really know what you were missing if you never had great sex.

For the most part yes. It does depend on the culture though.

Depending on what "religion" you follow, this is not always the case. Wicca for example, understands the cycles of the human body, celebrates fertility and doesn't look down upon things that are natural.

Premarital sex, isn't premarital sex if you don't plan on getting married

I don't think it's really that bad from my own point of view. What you do is your choice and if you and the other person are comfortable with it, why not? Marriage should end that, of course. I mean, that's sort of an agreement not to have sex with anyone else, but before marriage you are still the same person you were the day before the wedding.

Now, if you want to get down into the technical crap, maybe it's wrong to have sex at all, with anyone, unless you are trying to have a child, and that kind of commitment should come after you are ready to marry someone. There's too many single parents who couldn't stay together after having a child.

Marriage isn't necessary an agreement to have sex with only that person. It is for most but many people don't view marriage that way and are happy having more open marriages.

yeah it is really true. in religion point of view it is really wrong. ideally it should be done though with in marriage. but still accepted now in our society.

How could you be happy, knowing that your significant other is not true to just you? If you're having sex with other people, that's all for pleasure. Where is the intimacy in your relationship? I guess I just don't understand why you would marry someone, get into this legal contract, when you both plan on being with different people. For what benefit? Because you both make enough money and can live with each other? What is it about? If it's about money and security, I don't find that a strong enough point to be with someone. I'm with someone because I want to be with them, not use them.

Yeah I think outside sex shouldn't really be an accepted part of marriage or it defeats the purpose a little. I mean, if you are both comfortable with it, go ahead, but my views before I still stand by.
