Mother Charged With Drowning Newborn Boy, Attempting to Kill His Twin

MILWAUKEE —
A Wisconsin woman has been charged with homicide after allegedly placing her newborn twins in a bathtub and watching them struggle in the water. A criminal complaint says one of the two-week-old babies died at the scene. The other is expected to survive.
The 38-year-old woman was apparently upset over the shooting death of another son in Texas and wanted to kill herself. She said she was also having trouble breast-feeding.
The woman told investigators she put the fraternal twins in the tub and took them out when they stopped moving. A family member arrived soon afterwards and called 911.
The woman told police she wanted a permanent solution to her problems and for the children "to go to heaven."
She's been charged in Milwaukee County with first-degree intentional homicide and first-degree attempted intentional homicide.

So she figures the children are better off dead than in a world without that crazy bitch? I don't mean her other son being shot (in Texas, at that) isn't a terrible thing to go through but then to kill your other children so they can "go to Heaven." If the surviving baby lives he will be messed up later in life, from lack of oxygen and having two brothers killed and a mother in jail for trying to kill him and one other brother.

I mean, a lot of people go around raping children and brutally murdering them, but this is a mother who was trying to kill her children (and drowning isn't too fun I'd have to bet) for their own good out of her love as a mother. I think that's much worse.

that is really terrinble to hear. but i can't blame the woman for doing that. she is just so depressed over the death of her son. and just want to end the misery of her life too.
