It seems that everyone has their own views on EMO kids. Let me tell you, I was once a little Goth/Emo kid with the hair covering my face and makeup on, I eventually grew out of the stage and now I'm an American Eagle Poster Child. Some people looked down on me for it while others thought it was great. No matter who you are there is always going to be someone who doesn't like your appearance, what you say or even do. But you have to learn to be affirming in your own ways and stand up for who you are. The whole "cutting the wrists" thing, well, I was never one for that. It never appealed to me and I don't know why some do it other than they have other issues! It's NOT just an EMO thing! A thought though, since technically EMO stands for Emotional, doesn't that mean we are all somewhat Emo? It doesn't mean we have to dress in black and have our hair done a certain way, it's just the stereotype that has been given and we as human beings are emotional and can all be classified as EMO. Am I wrong? Well, I say, let the Emo kids do their thing as well as all of the rest of us. There's no need to segregate due to stereotypes! :P
