I wasn't sure if this would be a "Social Issue" or a "Current Event"...so, this is what you get.
Capitalist buzz surrounds stoner ?holiday? - Life - MSNBC.com
Article from MSNBC, talking about new "money-making" campaigns scheduled for April 20th. Because capitalism never sleeps. It's not a very impressive article, but being this "holiday" is rapidly approaching, and I believe I'm the only resident stoner here...I had to do my part for my brethren. This, made me laugh.

(Final Paragraph of the report)
“We’ve made tremendous headway in clarifying the hazards of marijuana use and then along come these yahoos who are countering this progress with media events and with marketing events and with money-making events … money made at the expense of the brain, the body and the behavior of susceptible people,” she said.

That is fucking hilarious. Money made at the expense of the brain, the body and the behavior of susceptible people. That could be the definition of capitalism.
It also mentions a new movie called "Super High Me" which is a take off of the "Super Size Me" movie. A comedian (Doug Benson) smoked weed for 30 days straight, getting as high as he could and took various tests along to way to monitor how he was effected, mentally and physically, I'd assume. I like the idea, but I'm not a very big Doug Benson fan. I question how well he'd do on those tests without marijuana.
