Lol. That's total crap. Just look at their other videos...

It was entertaining though.

Could be. But this would make sense. They've been trying to figure out a way to get rid of pirating, and this would sure work. Not only that, it would limit you're access to information to only the main corporations..which, of course, would be biased and untrue. With all the freedom's that have already been removed from us in this post-9/11 world, it would not surprise me if they did in fact do this.

Yeah, you're right. It would essentially eliminate pirating. Well, over the internet pirating, of course. It just doesn't make sense though... Big corporations like Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, etc. make a lot of their money from the small websites from their ads. I just don't see how it would work out. It would not only drastically change the internet, but basically the entire world if you think about it. In fact, Google makes all its money from smaller sites. It just doesn't make sense.

Edit: Nevermind, I let it go too long and the conversation moved on.

If Google eliminated all the smaller sites that provide similar services to what the mainstream sites provide, it would be essentially like Wal-Mart killing off all the mom and pop shops around a city. I think it does make sense. Once those sites are gone, Google makes the same amount of money off fewer sites. Maybe more money because I'm sure they'd jack up the prices for accessing the internet at that point. Besides...all major internet providers already give the government a list of all sites you access, it'd be easier if they just told you what sites you could go to. It would dramatically change the internet and probably the world, but if you haven't noticed, the world is changing rather rapidly right now.

I think something big will happen in 2012 i just don't know what. I think 2012 is a way bigger deal and more known than Y2K so people will freak out regardless.
