When Brothers Share a Wife

i downloaded this add on for Firefox called stumble you basically give your interest and there are hundreds of them then you click the stumble button and it picks a random site out of your selected interest... now i don't know what interest i selected that came up with the site above but regardless i found it interesting...

so what do you think about it? i don't really agree with it.. polygamy is one thing but the reverse of that... not saying either one is right... i'd rather stay monogamous but just curious on everyone else's view.

btw i only read the first page...

Polygamous marriage doesn't really make sense... Then you could technically marry everyone and the US, and it would murder our legal and tax system. Additionally, it would open up a whole new can of social rights, including the right for gay marriage, bestial marriage, and inanimate marriage, so yeah, it would mess things up a bit.

Yea, polygamy = nono. Our whole government system is based on two people only staying married to each other and thats it.

Doesn't mean you can't have action on the side (if your partner is OK with it [Which I highly doubt and you'll probably get slapped at the mere mention of it])

Note - I do not condone cheating/having affairs while you are married.

I don't believe in sharing. Never mind with a brother. It would be as bad as marrying your mother or sister. It's just wrong. I would never agree with that. Unless someone pays me to.

put it this way... i'll pick a modern celebrity thats pretty attractive.. hrm... lets go with... halle berry or Evangeline lilly? now if she asked you and your brothers to marry her together would you? i sure would... funny thing is i have no brothers or sisters so i guess tha'd be my lucky day.

I don't have a brother either. However if I did then I wouldn't. I just wouldn't be able to do it. Maybe a couple beers could fix that. I will never know. Haven't got a brother.

same here, now my roommate and I... we used to sort of share girl... not at the same time or anything but if i slept with some girl he would eventually too down the road or vice versa... i know sounds strange... but im sure it happens everywhere half the time we didn't even realize it till after the fact and he'd say hey check out this girl he'd show me a picture and i'd be like dude she's old news... lol weeks ago. but that was when i was alot younger and before i got married.

Hm...well legally marriage opens up a ton of benefits like insurance and crap, and traditionally/religiously marriage is for two people. As for it opening up gay/inanimate/bestial marriage, maybe, but why do people place gay marriage with marrying people to animals/inanimate objects? Chiefly my point there is that gay marriage won't lead to inanimate/bestial marriage necessarily.

Back to the subject, though, before I back myself into a corner. No, wife sharing isn't a good idea. In fact it couldn't be a worse idea. It would ruin the system of benefits and all that. It also defeats the purpose of marriage.
