Yes, but what is good to them? Is that truly a good thing to do? My friend said to me the other day, "I think that for the most part, human beings are good." I really dont think so.
As a whole, they are very selfish and most of them care only about themselves and their own comfort. They dont care about other species of life or the Earth. They have seperated themselves from nature and forgotten that from which they came, which will ultimately lead to their destruction.
And then there are individuals like me who really care and really want to help, human beings and all life on this planet. If the best thing for me to do would be to lay down in the woods and rot, then I would do it.
I think creativity is one of the good things, one of the most amazing and beautiful aspects of human beings, art and music, and the diversity among human beings, their individual expression, they are, for the most part, all different in some ways.
I hope that humans learn and survive as a species, and one day, our children will be born without character flaws like jealousy, anger, hatred, and will use their power to help, instead of harming others, but then I have to ask myself, are all of these characteristics part of what makes human beings human, not necessarily from an individual standpoint, but as a whole? It seems to me that human beings require invidivduals who are basically sacrificial examples that help other members of the species recognize or discover certain aspects about themselves and their own nature.
Thats why I dont hate people who do evil things, because alot of them cant help it. They are just being themselves. So I try to keep an open mind and understand everyone and respect them for being themselves.
This is how we have evolved on this planet.
