I like forums because as you join new communities, your basically thrown into a whole new setting with new people to discuss topics with. After a while, you develop a certain relationship with members as you start making friends over the internet and it's just like real life. You stay in a forum long enough and you'll start to notice the inside jokes and laughs you have between other members.

IM is boring since you basically only talk to people you already know.

So how long have you preferred Instant Messengers over Forums? JK. I like both just as much, although I tend to favor forums more.

Haha. I use AIM once in a while, but I tend to prefer forums. Like Danger said, it's so much fun getting to know the other members...

wll i prefer forums too so that i could chat with many people at the same time. u nlike in chat or messengers we can only pm one person at a time. and only one person can read our messages. forums are more fun. and we can learn more from it.

I do agree with you. However if you have loads of friends you know. It would also be a good idea for you all to be on a forum. That way you can have proper discussions with everyone you know.

Hmm. I use AIM and MSN. I think that AIM is a lot more advance and is a lot more professoinal. However MSN is just easier and dose not irritate me as much. I guess I have used MSN a lot more thats why.

They don't delete them I think. I had an account from when we used to have AOL Internet. You get teh account automatically. Then after months of being with someone else. I decide to check AIM and it still works.
