That date? Means nothing to me. Why do people keep predicting the end of the world? Oh, it's going to be June 6, 2006. Why? It wasn't June 6, 1006 or June 6, 1906. Maybe it'll be June 6, 6666. It wasn't the millennium either. Now some people say it'll be in a few years. They just like to think that the world will end soon. Then there are the pessimists who say global warming will kill us all, but, truthfully, I think that if global warming will continue to such a great extent (which is a natural phase in the world, like the ice age) people will be ready and will survive, methinks. Anyway, that's for a different thread.

I think Butler is gonna become supreme ruler of everything. If I had to give a year I'd say 2009. Just a guess.

Ugh...the world isn't going to end on December 21st. No one knows when and no one ever will until it happens. We should have learned this from the countless other predictions.

actually the millenium people didn't think the world was going to end, they thought that computer systems world wide wouldn't not be able to handle a 00 date because it was programed with 19 prefix not a 20 prefix. The only fear was that all thing computer based would crash. Meaning for one hell of a blackout... this if far from the end of the world... I for one thought it would do us all some good to have to back track to centuries previous to electricity for a few days, weeks, months, years till we could get everything back in order... actually i do believe we would have just tipped the year date back and as a temporary fix until someone could have corrected the programming error.

now as far as this new prediction of the end of time... i hadn't heard anything about it anyone got a link... or what was the name of the videos?

Not only did they think that computers would cease to function, but they also thought that all the nuclear warheads would go off, destroying the Earth. And this is different than Nostradamus' predictions.

i had never heard that part, don't see how a warhead can go off without electricity, was it the last and final surge of power that would send it into its flight?
