Since there's ALREADY A THREAD ABOUT THE TRANSFORMERS MOVIE, why don't we discuss BOTH this month?

I wonder if everyone knew what we would talk about if we picked Transformers. I'm sorry, but the only discussion you could get out of that are the "remember the part when's" and the "what's your favorite among the Autobots/decepticons/parts of the movie." Other than the Decepticons being government vehicles, (which i posted in t-formers thread), there isnt much.

I saw Transformers. There really isn't any "deep" thing about it. In fact, there's more symbolism in Star Wars Episode III. And that's tellin' ya somethin'.

And i agree with Obdurate. Next month, we shall(should) discuss Spice World! You know, ask each other who our favorite is, ask each other what our favorite parts were, ask "remember the part when..."

I swear to **** (cuz now, due to recent happenings in this thread, **** is my new God) that when Transformers wins I'm gonna make another thread and just discuss a movie with myself.

Seriously. Joad said it well already, but let me add this: You people who voted Transformers are missing the point of the Movie Club. This is for more SERIOUS DISCUSSION that we don't have in Digital Media. It isn't about what movie "owns," it's about it's artistic merit.

Don't worry Obdurate! If Transformers wins, I'll discuss Rocky with you and yourself!
