Well I just bought Costello Music by The Fratellis based on a suggestion from a friend. I was wondering if anyone else has heard of this band and if so what are your thoughts? Personally i think its a great debut album. It has like a modern day Beatles sound to it, the songs dont have much deep meaning though, but thats not a bad thing. The Songs are enjoyable and very easy to listen to over and over again.

I haven't heard, of them, but I will listen to some of there music, and ill give you my opinion on them, I like the Beatles, so i will most likely like The Fratellis.

modern day beatles they arent too similar, they are british, and have an interesting sound, their sound isnt like theb eatles that much but they remind me of them in other ways, but their song flathead was in the most recent ipod commercial. i dont know what i was saying when i said modern day beatles sound

lol, I don't know if i will like them, all that much, I'm not a big British music fan. I hate there acsents, I don't hate them, I just cant under stand them all that well..lol

I'm probably alone here but I think the singer SOMETIMES sounds like the singer from the Arctic Monkeys. Anyways.

My girlfriend likes the couple songs she's heard by 'em so that means you're a pussy. Kidding, she got me to download the album and it's pretty decent stuff. I have no real critique of it besides it's enjoyable. Just good fun music me thinks. Won't be remembered as too much in the grand scheme of things though.

yeah thats what i said, and it does sound like the arctic monkeys
