Anyways, I WILL talk about Sage Francis, thanks. He's one of the most energetic MCs to ever grace the mic while still saying something at the same time and I urge everyone to listen to him. Try his album "A Healthy Distrust" first.

Yeah you said he wasn't even rap (or hip hop, whatever, doesn't matter). I was kind of hoping for a reason why. I still don't get it.

he doesn't sound like typical hip hop, but everything is hip hop. its the state of mind he's in, so if he calls himself hip hop then he's got the hip hop attitude, that makes him hip hop. doesn't make him good...but it makes him hip hop

So even though you're full of it, I wanna say that you should check out the Non-Prophets album if you want to hear Sage doing some more traditional (whatever) hip hop. It's more old school but you know, trying to advance it at the same time.

So maybe you'd like that.
