Default Panic At The Disco

Since they have a new album coming out, might as well discuss them...

I actually really liked their first album. I thought making half of it more "classical" music and the other half more electronic was a neat idea. I thought that the lyrics could be witty at times but all in all I enjoyed the lyrics.
They didn't always sing about girls either, like a lot of people like to think.

So for their new album, it's supposed to be more Beatles influenced and upbeat. Nine in the Afternoon is a pretty good song so as much as I get shit on for saying this... I'm looking forward to the new album (Pretty.Odd., though I'm not a fan of the title).

I was never too big of a fan of them. I have one or two songs by them on my iPod, but that's about it.

Just taste differences, I suppose.

Panic is one of those bands I like quite a bit on record but the videos I've seen live have been horrible so they're strictly a studio band for me.

there are lots of great bands out there that... just don't get the publicity they need...

alot of people have never heard of seven marry three, although they know the song cumbersome and the waters edge.

its really kinda sad, to see such talent go to waste because they are not "cool" enough for everyone.

another good example of this you can take any new cd by any band and listen to it and you can choose the song that they will make a video of first... least about 90% of the time i am right, and most of the time that song gets worn out on the radio... the band may have plenty of other truely great songs but that song has the right beat the catchy lyrics etc...
