| Ok, I don't know if this thread has been already made, but I did check the first 2 pages and didn't see it. xD So I'm making it. What is the most annoying over played banned/singer that you've heard. For me it'll have to be Daughtry. So annoying. xD This advertisement is only visible to guests. The most over played band is Led Zeppelin and Nirvana's "Come As You Are" I was tired of it back in 1991, lol.

| It usually cycles. When a new single comes out, it's always overplayed, even if I like the band and the song. I listen to rock stations, so I'm not up to date on most pop music. Let's see...I heard Nickelback's "Photograph" once and I already feel it's overplayed. Terrible, terrible song. Green Day's "Know Your Enemy" was on way too much, especially since, after the first 5 seconds, you've basically heard the whole song. ![]() Keep this in mind: whether it be a rock or a grain of sand, in water, they both sink. -Oldboy Last edited by Ich_Bin_Butler; 08-06-09 at 10:09 AM. |

Now they play "21 Guns" by Green Day out the ass. xD They played it 20 times in the new Transformers movie. ![]() ![]() --Number 1 Chris Pine fangirl since January 2007!!! Know Your Enemy is a terrible song. It works a little better live but it's still not that good. American Idiot was a pretty simple song but it worked a lot better as a lead off single, because at least it was interesting and fairly intense. Lots of bands are overplayed. I adore Green Day, but they are. And it's a shame because it makes it harder to look at them and judge them on their own importance/song writing. They're really a great band who happens to be ridiculously mainstream. But this shit rnb/rap hybrid we've had for what seems like 70 years is overplayed. Time for a new mainstream. We had little hiccups here and there like when nu-metal got big but very little change over seriously, the last decade or so. ![]() "Don't vote, it only encourages them." |
