Well i recently borrowed 2 CDs from a friend, both Lamb of God CDs, Ashes of the Wake and Sacrament, they yell as vocals but i really like most of their songs i was wondering if anyone else likes them or has opinions of them.

I like them, i love metal music.........but some of there songs it is just to much for me..ya know

I saw them at Ozzfest and didn't like them. Disturbed yells a lot as vocals, but they pull it off. I wasn't really impressed with most of the hardcore metal Ozzfest had. Most of it, the vocals are yelling, there's very little melody, and the only distinguishable words in the songs are the song title in the chorus. Also, the song titles all sound like they could be emo poems. What I like out of my metal is good melody, good (even if simple) lyrics, and diversity.

I'm not saying they're not a good band, you vultures'll come down on me if I do, but I don't like them.

Yeah thats the part that sucks about metal.

well i really don't like metal. cause they are mostly noise rather than music. i just don't know how could you enjoy listening to such music if you hardly hear some melody and could hardly understand the lyrics of the song they are singing.

I recently started listening to these guys, they're pretty awesome.

Yeah, I like a few of there songs, I wish they toned it down a notch though, it would be better listening.

Well, the majority of their audience (including myself) likes how they're doing things now. And their motto is "Pure American Metal", so I don't think they're toning it down anytime soon.
