okay, im not major sound company but im going to give you a small tip cause i have recorded on a POS computer for friends before and sounded alot better, what you need to do is record the song by itself from each member of the band independently and then layer them ontop of one another this way you can kill the volume of each instrument individually to make it sound the most pleasing.

it's like having a sound board right there your friend on the drums may have to be at 50 percent volume compared to the rest of the instruments so that everyone else can be heard.

just an idea, there are many programs out there that will let you do this. but you guys do rock anyways good job.

not really, with it being layers you can adjust the timing very easily and what helps even more if you have 10 seconds of dead silence at the beginning so you can cut it... just it can be difficult but it pays off and the quality will be much better.

When you do record, don't make it sound TOO polished though. A lil dirt is good. Like, so many bands completely kill the impact of the cymbal and it's supposed to be loud and obnoxious. Maybe not as loud as it is in the song you posted, though.

Just some two cents.

Yeah, Obdurate's right. Over-studio-ing songs can have a very negative effect
