I almost forgot what his real voice sounds like. Christ, there's so much passion there when he wants there to be. I like Insane. I wish 3am would have been rapped like that.

I like the skit too. He's always been great with skits, though. Better than most. I can still listen to The Kiss over and over because of the music and the build up.

I'm having more hope for the album. It won't be as bad as Encore, but the substance still worries me a bit. At least with Insane he's talking about something. Still lacks the bite of earlier stuff but I don't think anybody sane (ha, get it) would expect him to be on par with his prime.

Well, I wouldn't necessarily say he's talking about something on Insane, but he's back to telling a story, which is nice. Both Insane and 3 AM, he tells a story with his lyrics which is something a lot of rappers are lacking.

I think the substance might be alright actually. It seems the substance is going to be about the substances. His prior addictions and the reason he took such a long leave of absence. I'm hoping for another story off this album, but a non-fiction one with a deeper personal meaning to it. He's always good for that.


Btw...the album is officially leaked. It is out there to cop, but I'm gonna wait for it to officially drop. I might even buy it.

I listened to it.

It's better than Encore but that doesn't take much. I can stand most of the songs but not many of them stand out. His flow is on point but he does that stupid voice on another song or two, but is luckily saved by beats even when he does that. It's alright. Underground is a great, battle rap type song, though. Epic.

Edit: I've only listened to it all once, and a few songs a few times, so my opinion might change for the better or worst.

lol, that first link is Nick Cannon's official blog post. I haven't heard the song where Eminem says her name or whatever, but c'mon now...who hasn't Eminem mentioned in some way? Diddy didn't threaten him when he said he would fuck Jennifer Lopez even if she was his own mother and have an illigetimate child with her. I just can't wait for the diss records...Nick Cannon spit hot fiya!

I am now convinced to hate Eminem! He's EW!

People always get after Em for "picking on people who can't fight back," but that's bullshit. See, in his prime, Em couldn't be touched. He built himself as a fantastic artist, what would you insult him about? He picked on celeb culture because celeb culture is bullshit. If these people had credibility, they could fight back, but more often than not they don't. Not to mention he did go after rappers like Canibus and Cage, along with some others, who could and did fight back. But people forget that because they're too busy saying Em picks easy fights, instead of realizing that celeb culture needs to be taken down.

It's a badge of honour (lol) to be mentioned in an Eminem song.

And the song he mentioned Mariah in is okay. Got an eastern beat. I don't know, Relapse has some really juvenile lyrics sometimes. It has a bit of Encore on it.
