I can only imagine that Ny'awlins will look the same today as it did after Katrina. I would venture a guess that Saints fans WRECKED that town last night.

I heard today that SuperBowl 44 was the most watched television program ever.

With an average US audience of 106.5 million viewers, this was the most-watched Super Bowl ever as well as the most-watched program of any kind in American television history, beating the 27-year-long record previously held by the final episode of M*A*S*H, "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen", watched by 105.97 million viewers.

So what that means is, if you randomly selected points in time during the SuperBowl broadcast, you'd average about 106 and a half million viewers. It topped out I believe at one point around 126 million.
