Super Bowl warmup: Schaub throws 2 TD passes and AFC beats NFC 41-34 in Pro Bowl

In its new role as a warmup to the Super Bowl, the Pro Bowl became a series of wind sprints.
Long gains were the rule and hard hitting was the exception as the AFC beat the NFC 41-34 on Sunday night.

Putting the Pro Bowl first is terrible. None of the players from the Super Bowl bound teams play in the Pro Bowl, fewer people tend to pay attention because it tries to cut into Super Bowl build-up, and lessens the importance of the Pro Bowl in the process.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Pro Bowl down the road will be eliminated.
On the other hand it's another way of folks making the extra bucks.

I like the format. I think that fewer players had phantom injuries this year than many in the past and thus skipped the game. Yes, the superbowl teams players that made the PB dont play but in reality, how many play after the SB, especially from the losing team??

Swing the club and hope the ball gets in the way!
