lol I love it. LSD isn't nearly as dangerous as they claim it to be. You just can't be an idiot about it. You have to realize what you're doing, and be able to keep your cool. If you don't respect it, it can turn ugly on you. Same with any drug.

The man who discovered the double helix was experimenting with LSD when he had the vision for it. The model we now use for DNA. A lot of earlier computer programmers and developers experimented with LSD. Creative ideas and outside the box thinking is thrust upon you...and if you respect it, it might able to show you a thing or two.

Umm, no, that's not how it happened. A pair of scientists discovered it when they studied Rosaline Franklin's x-ray diffractions and compared them with their own findings.

this is interesting really... i didn't realize the double helix was something anyone created, i just thought we had zoomed in and zoomed in so much and saw what dna looked like... now i feel retarded

It's very debated, but he never admitted to it and most believe that the LSD had nothing to do with the discovery if the double helix. Theres a discussion on it here:

Anywho, Dock Ellis was a fine pitcher in his day and he's probably glad he had PE's to help him. LMAO
