| Earlier today, Illinois beat #1 Ohio State on the road 28-21. Illinois controlled the ball for the final 8+ minutes in the game. Looks like the new #1 and #2 will be LSU and Oregon. |

| I'm still a Sooners fan. Anyways, the whole ranking concept in college football is ridiculous. It's the same in the CHL (Canadian Hockey League), they rank teams 1 through 10 based on little more than records. It's flattering, but by no means indicative of much.

| No. They lost 1 or 2 last year, and 2 this year. I just don't get how a 3 loss team can be ranked higher than a 2 loss team. USC's two losses are by a total of 8. Florida's 3 losses are by a total of 19. |
