Does anyone here like to write? (Novels, short stories, poems, etc.) I write short stories and novels chiefly (I haven't finished a novel yet, but I have outlines) but I make a few poems. I'm not much of a poems person, though.

I write tabs, sheet music, not so much lyrics but music literature.

What exactly do you write about? Is it based upon original ideas or is it closer to a fanfiction feel?

I do origional ideas for the most part. I wouldn't try to publish something from an unorigional idea, but I'm not too adverse to writing it anyway.

i like to write lyrics to song instrumentals its sorta the only writing i do but im not that bad at it i kinda like it its fun

What genre do you usually write in for short stories or planned novels? Personally, i found out writing humorous stories much easier to write than any other

I like making humorous short stories, but I do like to add a little macabre touch to most, creating a sort of creepy mood. My novel ideas (pun not intended) tend to take a little from every genre and create something unique. I'm sure they could be catagorized into some genre, but I can't quite place them.
