^ That is high literature right there. Just Brandonin' ya, Brandon.

I'm reading the Third Policeman by Flann O'Brien. Pretty odd. Someone's been murdered, and the guy who did the murdering is walkin' around talking to some cops who are whacked because they keep saying how people are turning into bikes and other things related to atomic theory.

I picked it up because I heard a lot of good things about the author and this book.

I just finished "To Serve And Submit" by Susan Wright. A highly-erotic and well-crafted novel of fantasy and sexual submission. I need to buy her sequel, "A Pound of Flesh".

Never heard of them. Did Susan Wright write (heh) Star Trek novels too? I did a search on wikipedia for her.

I just finished The Third Policeman by Flann O'Brien. It didn't hook me in really until the last 50 pages but I don't think I was in the mood for the book anyway. So it's not a favourite of mine but I will say this, it has some ace ideas, an amazing ending, and it's funny... so I can see why it's praised.

Now on to my two part graphic novel extravaganza. First, Watchmen, then.. V for Vendetta.

Susan Wright wrote (mwahaha) some self-help books and, eventually, cook books, before she started writing erotic fantasy. She's actually the chairman of the American National Council for Sexual Freedoms, so I think it's a different person you're refering to.

UPDATE: I have just begun reading (for real this time) "The Art of War" by Sun-Tzu.

Apparently in some business courses, The Art of War is required reading. Er, yeah.

I'm reading Of Mice and Men now by John Whatshisface. Actually I haven't started yet, but I will shortly. Just got done reading a bunch of books by S.E. Hinton. Anyone ever heard of her? She's most famous for her first book, The Outsiders. She's a good author.

Yeah but I've only read the Outsiders and that was back in school when my opinion on books was tainted by the fact I had to read. Not to mention I'm 22 now and I was roughly 14 when I read it (nice coincidence there, Butler, eh?). I remember kind of enjoying it and that's about it.

And you're 'bout to start reading a classic but I've never read it. I'm horribly behind on reading what people call classics. Let me know if it's actually a classic or just old.

Right now I'm reading The House of the Spirits by Isabel Allende, because my lovely likes it a lot and I'm gonna give it to her but she told me to read it first. Shares similarities with 100 Years of Solitude, and it's a pretty good read so far, but I'm not really far in. It's kinda slow but I'm used to reading slow books now.
