One of the best books ever, if not the best. That's all I'm saying now cuz it'll just be a waste of my time to say more. I just want you all to know you're missing something special if you haven't read it, and that I'd marry it if I didn't have a girlfriend.

Watchmen is set in 1985, in an alternative history United States where costumed adventurers are real and the country is edging closer to a nuclear war with the Soviet Union (the Doomsday Clock is at five minutes to midnight). It tells the story of a group of past and present superheroes and the events surrounding the mysterious murder of one of their own. Watchmen depicts superheroes as real people who must confront ethical and personal issues, who struggle with neuroses and failings, and who - with one notable exception - lack anything recognizable as super powers. sounds good. like the novel is talking about the impending doom and end that the world will depend on people who will going to save it. i will want to read this of book cause they are really close to reality in a way that we all need people who will conribute in helping our world safe for a long time.

Okay people. More Watchmen conversation is needed now. Butler, you have no excuse now, the book is probably everywheres now. I hear that a lot of bookstores are getting extras in to tie in with the recent interest in it due to the movie that's coming next year.
