Default Frozen Tears

I wrote this poem a few years ago and decided that since now there is a forum and an array of people of which to share this with, I will post it and see what results will come from it. I know that poetry can be encrypted differently depending on the individual but I was wondering what you, the reader, thought of it! What do you get out of this poem? I have another one too that I've received so many answers for and I would like to see what you all have to say! But for now, this poem is entitiled: Frozen Tears

That moment when I stepped outside on a cold and wintry day,
The wind, it blew the snow upon the mist across my way.

For greened lands are but a blur of silky whitened rain,
I cannot find the one I love, my broken heart of pain.

As darkness fell it seemed as though my skin was cold as ice,
For how can I let go my love, my heart, my dear, my life.

Just then I heard a crack beneath the ground on which I stood,
Looked down and saw the frozen tears of love no mortal could.

Tempered winds had carried him across this mirrored land,
Where water found him, by an inch I could not reach his hand.

Be free my love for there’s no way you will ever die like this,
I wore the ground upon my hands and through ice give lovers kiss.

Frozen under grounds so stiff with eyes that gleamed to mine,
My burning heart broke into flame and melted the devils shrine.

Although my love was freed of winter’s clenching jaws of death,
His frozen tear was the only part that life and simply kept.
