private servers are free?

i been playing it off and on since it came out, i was actually just about to post a thread entitled world of warcraft when i saw this one.. i play on dath'remar cause all my friends play there.. thats actually only two friend lol...

i wish you guys played on the same server, highest character i had on my last account was a lvl 60 blood elf priest...

i now play only horde i have almost every character type... nothing extremely high right now a 24 blood elf paladin is the highest i have on this account. which is only account i have currently...

if you need help computerdude you should really look into wow mods.. goto Google and search world of warcraft mods in curse mods there is a program called quest helper... it will help you level faster it basically tells you were to go to complete the quest the fastest...

another mod i have found to be very helpful is buff reminder it reminds you of those self buffs... it'll display a pop up in red letters telling you such and such spell is about to dispell. helps to remember to keep those buffs on.

computerdude if you don't have any friends that play on your server you should check out dath'remar I'd be glad to help you if you wanted to play together, could even start a character with yours if you wanted something that would complement yours and help you along faster. but thats up to you.

yes private servers are free, but they are not so stable... and you never know how the owner of the server is going to be he can basically change anything about your character at any time... for the good or for the bad, they also unless they are very dedicated or have a dedicated server their server may not be up 24/7. its very different from playing on an official server... 15 bucks a month is completely worth it... get your mom or dad to spot you a credit card and mow the grass once every other week and surely they wont mind. for those of you that are older, just do a one month free trial and u'll see its completely worth the 15 bucks a month if your into a games like this... this is the best one out right now.

Since before it came out I planned on getting it. Its been like four years now and I still have not got it. I live Boulders Gate though. I wish that was still online.

wait for the new expansion to come out then buy it.. its worth it..

Does anyone know if the free trial is worth downloading? I might download it and just use my prepaid visa to pay for it if I get into it.

as far as i know free trial is the full game.. u just get to play one month for free u might be limited to certian things... but not sure... worldofwarcraft.com play on server dath'remar horde side...

Yea, its 10 days and your limited to your level, friends list, and pretty much everything.

Not bad though, I'll probably get it since I've been bored lately.

EDIT: I'm currently downloading it right now. Friggin' 3.16 GB of information is going to take a little over an hour to download, but I can't wait to play it. I remember playing it over a friends house and not wanting to stop. Where is Dath'remar located at. I want the best ping possible, so ideally it would be EST for me.

dath'remar is overseas but i get a really good ping there anywhere from 60 - 200 you have to remember its graphic intensive and it will affect your ping...

Yeah, my video card isn't that great so I'm going to put all my graphics to low.
